Partner Punch Mitts

Partner Punch Mitts Class is an intermediate level class for those who know proper fundamentals and can demonstrate basic skills.

This group class puts boxing fundamentals to use in a more simulated scenario, in which boxers are paired up to take turns boxing and holding punch mitts.

The coach will dictate the skills and emphasis for each round, whether it be specific punches, defensive moves, footwork, etc. The partner holding mitts will call out punches, combos, and movements, and the boxer will return with the punches, combos, and movements.

Please note:

  • This class requires a basic knowledge and understanding of boxing skills, and should only be attended by those of an intermediate or advanced boxing level.

  • Monday’s Boxing Fundamentals class will include an introduction to mitt holding along with boxing and equipment overview, so it is recommended to continue attending Monday’s class until you possess basic mitt holding skills
